HRH PRINCESS CHULABHORN OF THAILAND | |||
The portrait has the Royal Signature at the bottom center, in a blue leather picture frame, with the Royal Cypher at top. HRH the Princess Chulabhorn officially visited the Republic of Chile in March 2000. It was my last year of 4 stationed at the Royal Thai Embassy in Santiago, as 1 of only 5 staffs stationed there, and was fully involved with the Royal Visit. The preparation was quite tedious, with a full team sent from Thailand to help out. The actualy visit went fast as one could expect. At the end of the trip, HRH gave us thank you presents which encompassed a necktie with HRH's cypher, a leather filofax diary with HRH's cypher and this presentation photograph. It is a giftset that I fully cherished as I guess anyone can imagine. HRH the Princess Chulabhorm is the youngest daughter of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej or Rama IX of the Chakri Dynasty and HM Queen Sirikit. She was born on 4 July 1950. Her specialty includes her works in the sciences, especially through the Chulabhorn Foundation. She is also an accomplished "Guzheng" player, a Chinese string musical instrument.
